we have been going in to serious discussion about how agile methodology supports / refuses planning right ?

do remember agile is all about

• welcoming changes 
• minimal planning 
• minimal focus on procedures and documentations 
• more focus on team work 
• daily stand up meetings (scrum) 
• sprints 
• deliverable end of every sprint
• time boxing 
• face to face interactions
